Quigley Scores Five in Win Over Millersville

BLOOMSBURG- Kelsey Quigley (Lansdale/Methacton) scored five goals to lead Bloomsburg University Lacrosse to a 17-8 win over Millersville on Sunday evening.

The Huskies jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a goal by Quigley and goals by Sam Alexander (Willow Grove/Upper Moreland) and Samantha King (Elkton, MD/ Northeast). Millersville fought back, scoring two consecutive goals to bring it within one and kept the score tight, trailing by two at the half, 6-4.

In the second half, Quigley would score four more goals, while Alexander and King would each add another. Kelsey Schwan (Burnt Hills, NY/ West Chester) added two more for Bloomsburg, one coming with a second left to play, making it a 17-8 victory.

Along with Quigley's five goals, Bloomsburg, now 8-2, also got two goals from Kim Springman (Downingtown/Bishop Shanahan).

The Huskies will play at West Chester on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
